Right today was the day after watching hours of videos and reading this thread at 10 times I finally fitted F15 EVO ID6 screen in my F30

All this retrofit is without murdering my dash on side and I managed to do without and Big Thanks to all guys here who made it happen with all their inputs and pictures

I painted chrome trim in gloss black to match heater surround trim and it blends in the dash I think .

Big Thanks to below Gents who helped me further and sent me emails and instructions

It doesn’t connect to my phone when I bought this ID6 set up that company sent me all coded and ready so they must have coded that as well

I installed the wifi antenna for my NBT EVO retrofit and found that screen mirroring works with some devices (mostly samsung) but not all, like pixel phones. When I finally got a phone that supported it (OnePlus 8pro), I mean, it's just kind of gimicky. I don't find it very useful at all. It takes up a tiny portion of the screen, even in landscape mode, and I mean, there's no real benefit.

i 've read through the whole thread and i'm very happy with all the infos and pictures for preparing a Screen. That is really great community work.

But I'm confused and was not able to figure out what would be the right display for me.

My Car is a F36 GranCoupe LCI, with Evo ID6 without Touchscreen .

I Have the 8.8 Inch Display installed.
If I'm right that should be the 65506822626

Do I understand it right, that this is an APIX2 Display with 12v power supply ?

What would be the right 10,25 inch Display for me ??
Maybe someone can post the right Part.No. for me.

I think there's no 10,25"-Display with APIX2 and without Touch.
There are now 2 possibilities.
You can buy the 9296939 or the 9347878 and install it with a voltage converter (12V-->9V).
Or you buy the 6816387 (display with touch) and don't use the touch functionality.
Or much better you buy the 6816387 and code the touch functionality.

Hello, I have found a screen 9296939 05 9 and I also have an NBT Evo ID5 laying around waiting for the screen. Is this screen apix1? Will I have to do the coding in order for it to work?

Yes that part number is apix1 ... you need voltage regulator cable along with coding to make it work. But problems doesn't end there. The screen will go blank occasionally and you have to hard reset radio to bring it back to life.

Anyone ever get a “no signal error?” I have an NBT EVO and would like to get this model screen working: 65506816387 (10.25 out of a 2017 x5M)

I know the screen is touch, 12V and I have tried APIX 2 with MII and many combinations of Resolutions in the evo coding. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, TYIA

does anyone know the answer to my question, I have a NBT EVO ID5 unit in my 2017MY 340i. when I get a touchscreen F15 screen, will I need to code the HMI ID VERSION to 6? I currently have it coded to ID6lite, just wondering if I would need to change it to ID6 in order for touch functions to work?
