Tried to drop a hint with the other half I might want another road bike by watching a YouTube video on the Pinarello Nytro. Apparently if I get another pedal bike we woudlnt make it to our 10 year anniversary .

Oh well, at least the Nytro has a similar colour scheme to my current Trek .

Been intrigued by a few of this guys videos. I feel he does too far but does know how stuff, if he just toned it down a bit!

Some of his vendor are getting YouTube bans now, Orbea being one. Anyway, from an engineering quality perspective he's not too impressive with Boardman. If was pretty pleased with my 9.2 CX bike, no BB issues. Anyway if you have time to spare for an engineering rant....

The frame on my Boardman hybrid is certainly nothing to get excited about, fine on the flat but doesn't like attacking climbs even with the electrical assistance, the Trek frame is miles better.

Am currently very tempted to put in a low ball offer on this thing, along with offer to 'trade in' for my current Trek.....

Nice looking bike! Agree on the Trek frames, felt incredible good on my Domane for years. Backed by lifetime warranty I think still.

Getting some fitness back now, and the average speed closer to 18mph+ I use to be able to.

Still nearly 30 seconds slower on a 1 minute climb compared to a younger me though.......The summary 'its not about the bike'. So better just keep on peddling rather than buy more bikes .

18mph average is good.

I average around 25-26kph or 15-16mph.

Hoping once I get bike fit again and get some miles into my legs I can start to push that up a little.

I'm about to go on a 22 mile round trip to deliver Easter eggs to nieces. TBH it's just an excuse to get out for a bit. I won't get it in an hour as my average speed is lower than some here!

Yeah the issue is an organised event as such and those images do us no favours...Enjoy your ride.

My Synapse Hi Mod.
Just dragged it out of the garage for the first ride since October.
