This MCU file is for NBT if anyone install it to CCC unit it will not function correct. Idrive not responding etc. ask me how I found out !!!
Does anyone have CCC MCU file to share? I have one but does not update. It stucks in wait to update but nothing happens.

Hi,

Maybe a bit offtopic. But my screen issues are not solvable as stated so the supplieer gave me the option of getting it refunded or send a new one. I think i would try the new one because i really like the functionality.

However next to the screen issue i have ( yellowish and bright colors in idrive or good colors, but wrong screen size) i have sometimes the issue that the unit wont boot and i dont see my idrive either.. this happens mostly after a short stop locking the car for ca 5 min. When reclosing for ca 15 min both start working again. Now my question is there somebody who encounters these issues ass well? If thats the case i would go for a refund. Hopefully my current unit is just faulty.

I am watching your posts very carefully as I never did resolve this issue on mine and I ended up selling it for various reasons but that was the biggest problem that I just couldn't deal with. Really hoping you get it resolved as I opted out of sending it back and swapping out with a v2 screen.

The second issue you have I never ran into but the screens saturation is a bit "different"

so you are talking about the boot/startup issue or the screen yellowness/brightness issue? thnx for ur feedback

just curious what car and what original display do you had/have? The strange thing when i select for example a 6.5 inch original cartype, the colors where good. i only got the issue when selecting a fullscreen 10inch cartype, which i obviously need for my original screen output.

I did run into that bootup issue where I would get no signal regardless and used the same files posted here to flash everything back to stock when it happened. (booted up fine from there)

The issue that never got resolved was the screen and how it fit...the image was cut off on the left just like yours and since no one else was running into the issue at the time, AVIN didn't know what to do so I literally gave up on it all after trying a crapload of options.

I originally had the 8.8 Pro NAVI setup before that. The colors were just bad all together when I installed the AVIN screen but I really noticed the quality issue when I plugged a new 10.2" OEM in from BMW. Having said that, I could definitely get over the color and audio issues if they upgraded/fixed several other bugs. It was a nice unit but not quite ready for prime time in my personal opinion whether it "works" for others or not; especially in a BMW. We have enough "issues" with our BMWs

Oh really!? I'm sure I don't need to go back in this thread and start quoting myself as it is completely false lol. Yessir, it was a v1 unit and v2 might just be your answer/solution! I'm just waiting on the sidelines for a slightly improved version as my new(er) phone and idrive don't get along well with music streaming anymore...kinda getting tired of plugging that aux cord in but at least none of us are still using that small screen

Thanks and I hope that fixes it for you! If not, I would think it's possible that our istep versions are "somehow" unique as I wouldn't think this would be an issue with the HU. I even coded out the larger screen resolution in eSYS to no avail so it isn't a "simple setting"...you can tell this drove me nuts man and welp, it kinda still is!!!
