Does anyone have pics of an iDrive 6 ceramic controller? This is the one with the ceramic knob and the silver media/comm/map/nav buttons. I have an opportunity to get one, but I'm not sure how it will look with my interior. I have the aluminum hex with gloss black trim.

Wondering if any of you have retrofitted it (or got it as an option) and how your setup looks. All google is providing is closeups of the controller itself. I'm willing to wrap the interior to make it look better but want to see some color combos.

Nope, that's the older version. This is the newer one

Sorry guys, there was some confusion on my end and it was NOT the controller I was thinking of (the one with silver buttons) — ended up getting the controller and it turned out to be this one, which I'm loving! And yes I know my car is dirty

Well.... I love the look of what you got, but don't dig that silver button version.

I find the silver buttons look really "cheap". The G20 330 I had as a courtesy car had all silver buttons inside, which really killed the "luxury" vibe.

LOL, funny that you say that, cause I actually found out that the silver button version is from the 7 Series and wouldn't have worked with my car anyway. I'm assuming those silver buttons are metal and feel more premium, but yeah, not crazy about the silver look of it.

Now if I can just get ahold of a ceramic gear selector to match
