Morning mate, i agree. They have been brilliant - great guys who work there.. lot of experience.
They have also been quite impressed with the kit. It was expensive and was little apprehensive at first. But seems good quality.... |

Looks great!
Very similar to the OE ///M look. What material were the arches? Are you worried about any settling / cracks appearing around the joins? Whats the score with arch liners now the rears are much bigger? Hats off to you for doing this! |

They are gelcoat fibre glass. The are very strong, the bodyshop were actually quite impressed from that respect. I guess part of me is a little worried and apprehensive about the possibility of settling cracks, but been offered a guarantee on the work. Will have to see, fingers crossed. The liners- i had asked them to make sure all was sealed to avoid crude getting in. I will have another closer inspection this week. As it turns out the guys actually rolled and folded the existing arches. Instead of cutting into bodywork. This retained overall strength and avoided bare metal etc. This I thought was quite smart and also reduced the void between new and old arch. The kit in its design does have quite a thick internally lip to it. We guess this it to offer some level of strength. However, this means running very wide wheels that sit very close to the fender wall impossible without it potentially fowling which could possibly crack the new arches. We had asked the manufacture how in their photos they were able to achieve the look. But we got no response. I don't plan to run wider wheels. Will be using some ACS spacers to widen track as wanted to keep weight down on wheels and tyres. The project was maybe a bit of a risk, that i hope I don't come to regret, but all part of life's rich tapestry😜 |

Very, VERY, cool! This is exactly what I am wanting to achieve with my F31. I've got the full M-Sport pack in Shadow Line on my F31 at the moment. I've added some M-Performance Mirror Caps and a Gloss Black rear diffuser which has really transformed the rear end of the car. Plan was to Lower and get some spacers next however seeing these arches I may have just changed my mind! Photos of my F31 current setup attached.
You have inspired me! |

Very nice, love the colour works well especially with the black contrast bits. If you plan to lower it, i would seriously consider adding some quality dampers to compliment the ride. I had ACS springs on its own and quickly added their dampers which is a great improvement. Spacers are also a no brainer, relatively cheap and worthy addition. 12/15mm is a common set up dependent on wheels. I've now got a fairly extensive lists of mods i added over the last 2 yrs so wallet is suffering a bit. Which, if honest was not my initial intention, but its so addictive and before x mas just decided i wanted something a bit more unique. I called today the bodyshop today , was being valeted. So wont be long, so will be able to share some more photos. |

Freddie, was going to ask, what did you take your front wings off of? Take it they did not come as standard? Love the vents in them!
Cheers, Fin |

Far from being sure if it's worth the hassle and cash. However, your car looks amazing, absolutely love it!
