Are BMW Factory Extended Warranties Offered at a Fixed Price? How much did you pay?
I'm considering purchasing a BMW Factory Extended Warranty as my standard new car warranty is about to expire. I was wondering if the price they charge is a fixed (non-negotiable) figure or if each dealership sets their own pricing. Are they negotiable? Anyone have any experience with this?
For those of you who have purchased the extended warranty, how much did you pay?

They are definitely negotiable in price. Unfortunately I don't have any experience with the BMW extended warranty, so I can't comment on pricing.

Are you talking about car warranty or maintenance.
My experience when I took delivery of my new 328i m the finance officer asked me if I wanted the extended car warranty it would be an additional 3200 if I waited till the last minute(meaning the original warranty4/50k ) it could be as much as 9000, depending on mileage . He showed me a graph or matrix on the PC showing time -mileage and price . I bought the extra warranty and maintenance to cover my ass. so I have 8 years or 100,000 miles and yes I am keeping this car ( I paid cash )but if I did sell it , the warranty is transferable So I would just add it to the blue book price. |

Let us know how much you end up getting it for. I may be interested in the near future as well, even though I had just got my 2015 - given we're both in Vancouver.

I too am having to deal with the same thing. I got quoted around $3,500 for the 84 mo/100k mi extended warranty. Still debating it, but they also talked to me about doing a trade in as well, so those are two options that I have to think about.
