Camera malfunction to replacing the whole wiring harness?
So i took my car in as i had a "camera malfunction" warning come up every time i put it in reverse (camera still worked).
A week passes by (with regular updates that they are having a tough time with the repair) and i get a call from the service manager telling me that they have to replace my wiring harness as they damaged it while trying to replace the camera on one of the mirrors (surround view). He was very upfront and apologetic and they've provided me with a nice loaner in the meantime. Apparently, the harness is $6,000 (Canadian dollars) alone and once it comes in, they will need 4 days to install it. I saw my car last week (was picking up a few things) and it was in pieces... panels off, driver seat out and carpet pulled back with wires all over the place etc. - Has anyone ever heard of anything like this? Seems like a massive job (i figure with labour over $10K) - Do i have anything to worry about? - The dealership has been very nice to me, I guess i'm just trying to figure out what/if anything to look out for when i get the car back.

I would worry about them putting it all back together with no rattle, other than that, I mean, its under warranty, so not much to worry about in terms of the work.
