B58 xDrive Max HP?

Thinking about picking up this 18 340i xDrive with MPPSK at a local dealer. How much HP can the AWD system handle before it becomes a problem? Coming from an N54 so curious about this newer platform.

There are guys running close to 900hp and from what I have seen they haven't reported any problems so far

ATC35L is not so great and part of my worries. If I had it over again I would select RWD.

I've only ever had a RWD but this car would be hard for me to turn down. What is ATC35L you're referring to

Thank you for the quick responses. This 2018 also comes with the MPPSK package and a digital instrument cluster. Was the instrument cluster an option in 18 or is that some kinda after market part?

The "L" in ATC35L means light. We have a downgraded transfercase from E9x days.

Lot of people making 600 WHP+ with xDrive with no issues, myself included. I also had 335i prior to this (but the N55 version ) and this platform is better in almost every conceivable way. I occasionally miss my E46 but never my E92.

How many miles have you had it tuned for? I just picked mine up over the weekend. Also what parts do you have on it? Coming from my N54 I'm curious how the extra power holds up over xxx amount of miles

Car has 58K miles on it, 54K of them are mine. I've steadily increased the power over that time, JB4 initially, then MHD E50 custom tune on stock turbo, then Pure800 turbo upgrade earlier this spring. It's basically been driven at more than stock power level since about 10K miles. I take care of it, had all the drivetrain services done at 50K (even the ones that BMW says don't ever need to be done), change oil every 3-4K miles etc.
All my noteworthy mods are in my signature.

Awesome.. Appreciate the response. Looking forward to getting into the tuning field once my warranty runs out I guess.
