Will Flash tune ever come for B58?

From what I've heard the 340's B58 ECU is very similar to that in the S55 M3/M4.

A tuning shop local to me, Tuning Tech FS, is also pretty confident that they'll be able to provide flash tunes in the near future (no ETA). All that Frank would say at the time is that major advancements had been made.

While nobody has publicly stated that a tune is available, it's obvious that some previous hurdles been cleared.

It depends. With what BMS stated, the stock turbo with FBO (jb4, intake, exhaust work, and meth) should peak around 460-475rwhp. I think the stock turbo limits will be around there (I could be wrong), but with a flash tune the consistency of the power will be an A+. Along with the possibility of using e85 over meth.

With Pure stage 2, it should be over 550rwhp.

It seems these numbers are achievable today using JB4 (With meth/x98 fuel) as the primary ecu tuning tool, but with a flash tune safety and consistency comes into play.

Correct me if I am wrong anyone. I just want 450rwhp with e30 fuel and a flash tune.

Flash tune will also get rid of the crippling throttle closures on full throttle shifts, with or without a catless DP.

I visited Cobb here in Austin a few months back to talk to them about tuning the B58 and they said the difficulty overcoming the encryption was the barrier to them offering an Accessport for our cars. I added my name to their list if they ever needed any beta testers since I am local.

It took many years to crack the N55 ECU so it may take some time for B58.. It will eventually come.

Is this also posted in their facebook page? I did hear rumors that the B58 ECU was finally jail broken. Can't confirm if this is factual.
