Pop or clunk when accelerating

I'll try to explain this as best as I can. Yesterday I noticed a pop or clunk noise coming from underneath the car every time I put my foot on the gas. Even while rolling already if I depressed the accelerator there would be this noise. It only happened right after putting stress on the drivetrain so my mind went to driveshaft, axles etc. I got underneath to see if anything was visibly loose and I don't find anything. I could twist the driveshaft back and forth maybe a 16th of an inch; should there be any play there? It definitely feels like it is directly when load is placed on the drivetrain i get the single pop. Any suggestions or insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

Make sure it's not the exhaust hitting the cross brace. I wouldn't describe that as a pop but you never know.

Pop is a bad description, but so is clunk. Somewhere in between the two lol. So driving today it was there, and then gone. It was definitely initiated by torque load on the drivetrain somehow. Don't understand how it just went away either. I'm sure it will return though, it was definitely something and I doubt it just fixed itself...

As terrible as they come out, I'm not sure if its worth trying to record a clip, but when I hear it again ill upload one just for fun, maybe someone will have an ear for it.

I had what I would describe as a grinding noise when my downpipe was hitting the subframe. It would oddly also come and go but it did feel like it was coming from the drivetrain, I assumed it was something catastrophic until I got under the car.

Hope you figure it out!
