Cheers Steve, did you see my reply about your back box swap, did you research the suitability of petrol on a diesel? Are you under warranty?

My car was registered in March 2017 so is still under warranty. There are many forum members who have either done what I have or fitted a custom exhaust deleting the back box completely who haven’t reported any problems.

I think Teaston has covered over 60,000 miles with a modified exhaust and not reported any issues.

I fitted an OEM exhaust so can’t see why it will effect the car detrimentally .

I appreciate if something does happen then I may have to argue my case with BMW. There have been no fault codes so far and don’t expect any. The exhaust fitter did mention warranty issues as a possible issue before he fitted it.
