Avant Garde M580 and H&R Sport Upgrades!

Hey guys! I finally got around to getting some new springs and wheels for my 2012 335i. I went with H&R sport springs and Avant Garde M580 wheels in Matte Dolphin Grey. It looks like a completely different car now and I couldn't be happier! I am hoping the springs settle and drop a tiny bit more but overall I am really happy with the way it turned out

Here a few before and after pics. The wheels on the before pictures are my winter wheels but it was time for them to come off because the weather is really warming up here in Kansas City.

A big shout out and thank you to Jason GetYourWheels for hooking me up on the wheel package. Great price, fast shipping, and a really smooth process.

Rim Specs:
19x8.5 ET 30 235/35/19
19x9.5 ET 35 265/30/19

Out of curiosity, how does your wheel gap compare to the M Sport next to your car?

My car is a tad lower, but not by much - maybe quarter inch.

car looks great! id recommend some painted reflectors up front to get rid of that orange reflector. love the wheels and the fitment looks great to compliment your drop.

Thanks, I agree with the reflector comment....that is definitely next on my list. I was originally planning on doing M Sport bumper but I actually kind of like the look now without it.

Looks fantastic! Thank for sharing, love how the gunmetal gives a bit more contrast than the previous blacks.

Reflectors would help like everyone mentioned

Did you install the H&R yourself? I have a '14 F30 and I'm having a hard time finding a shop to install the my sport springs without using a labor book. I have been quoted as much as $600! The springs were less than 300, so I refuse to pay 600 for labor...

BTW, love the wheels. Do you know the weight?

@Dcarp757, I didn't install the springs myself but I had an independent guy do it out of his garage. He only charged me $250. I was in the same boat as you, getting quotes from shops anywhere from $650-800. I still need to get an alignment done which will be about $100, so in all I will have spent about $350 for installation.

In regards to the weight, I am not positive but I would guess around 28lbs? I think I remember seeing that 20" were about 29.5 lbs, so not sure how much weight is shaved off when you go down to a 19"

I love the wheel design and I want gunmetal. Is there any shine at all or is it a completely dull matte? I also like 710FF's. They are only available in matte graphite.

They are completely matte but in certain light they look very shiny. The lighting can make them look very dark or very light, I kind of like the changes.
