Sage coffee machine anyone?
OK it's not an LED Lenser, but I just spotted this coffee machine on offer at Amazon for £355. I have the same machine in silver and it is an excellent piece of kit, although I paid quite a bit more for it . This is by far the cheapest that I have seen it.

Bargain - love my Sage Barista machine. Coupled with a freshly roasted coffee subscription, you can’t beat it.
I guess it seems a lot, but much cheaper than a couple of visits to a Costa each day!

It's for that reason that I won't 'appreciate' your post. Bloody BMW forum spending my money ..... Edit: for £369 you get a two year warranty: https://www.johnlewis.com/sage-baris...8;gclsrc=aw.ds

Tried coffee jars with a plunger-type-thing, aero press, cold brew steeped overnight and was recently given one of those one cup Krups things that takes pods. Nothing seems to do it so wonder if I may lack a coffee-compatible palate.

Two weeks of Sage ownership and I'm a better barrista than anything I've tasted in a coffee shop in ages... Working from home just gets better and better!
I've really enjoyed learning the technique of how to get the coffee and the milk just how I like it. Next step is trying different types of coffee. Thanks to JD6 for the original post.

I know folk on the internet like to be opinionated, and indeed love to confuse opinion with fact, but confusing your personal taste for fact is taking it to a new level.

I have pretty much stopped going to coffee shops or taking the free supermarket coffee as I just don't think they're good enough any more. I used to quite like Caffe Nero, but I can't bring myself to queue for a mediocre coffee! My preference is for for strong/rich coffees. Having tried all kinds of more specialist coffees, I still haven't found one I like as much as this own brand one from Sainsbury's https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/webapp/...sso-beans-227g |

A coffee forum... a coffee room... what has the world came to?
I might build a super noodle room in my new house. Is there a super noodle forum? |

I have the oracle barista touch. Absolutely love it. Used to pick up a coffee everyday so probably got my money back. Cost me a small fortune but I love coffee.
Thing just feels like it’s built with quality. Do it. |

My Sage DB is settling in nicely. A worthy upgrade to
my Gaggia Classic (up for sale if anyone fancies it?) and simple enough for the wife to use. Anyone looking for a good bean supplier, I’d highly recommend Rave Coffee who I’ve been using for the past 5 years or so. They roast to order and are by far the best, most consistent and best value beans I’ve found. They also normally have an introductory offer for new customers... |
