That's a tough one. Before I had a pano roof on my current 335 F31, I'd have said get the leather. But I'm loving my Pano Roof.
I hate the cheap shite dakota leather. I'd sell a kidney and get both. |

I've gone for individual leather. The sunroof is only a little one, had it been a panoramic one I'd have gone for that (probably as well!).

Sunroof every time! Individual leather looks lovely but you need to decide if it will be practical? Nappa is a very smooth patina and can easily burr, with a fingernail even, just when cleaning it. I don't have any young kids or animals and yet I've tended to shy away from it because the 'standard' leather looks pretty good anyway in my opinion and is so much more serviceable. Also I've gone for black interior again for my next car and the sunroof lets in a pleasant amount of light even if closed but with the cover slid back...and...on a dark night you can glance up and marvel at the stars! Closest any of us are likely to get to Rolls Royce's starlight headlining which I must say having used one on a job for five days is absolutely spectacular, can't see a bloody thing through the rear view mirror mind you because of the glare so have to rely on the door mirrors! Still it was a (very) small price to pay to get the chance to drive one for a few days!!!

Sunroof. Individual leather wears badly, had my seat back replaced at 16k now having the base replaced at 20k. Opal White Merino if interested.

https://www.bmwlander.co.uk/index.ph...00-miles.1154/ The first time it took about three months to get the part but this time I've booked it in early July as I'm going to be away for a few weeks so only a matter of weeks.

I have individual and it really does lift the interior. Wears better too bizarrely.

Tricky one.
I like the leather as it adds an extra layer of class to the interior which can be rather bland. I like the sunroof but honestly, today is only the third time in 8 months it has been open! Then again, I live Northwards. I guess if you live darn sarf you are getting get more enjoyment out of the SR. |

Weird, I had next to no wear on my Dakota leather in my old E91 after 55000 miles and yet the Merino in mine has started to show wear after 12000. I wonder if it's a batch issue?
