Is anyone running a 255 front?

As the title says, is anyone running a 255 front and lowered without rubbing? I fit a 245/35/19 up front, lowered no prob.

switching to 18s and a beefier tire..square setup on 18x8.5 et 35.

winter is coming!!!!!!!!!!!!

I run a 255 up front half the time when I do my tire rotations. Also, it helps on the track because when you go wider up front and narrow in the rear it reduces the amount of understeer.

I have a 8.5 front with +28 offest ,and I only rub at full lock

If you're adding an extra 10mm to your tire size, it may rub a little, especially if it's a wider tire like a MPSS

My offsets are 7mm more aggressive, but the tread width is 10mm wider if you go 255....depends on the tire you're gonna run too. I'm running V12 Hankooks, but MPSS will run much wider

I test fit factory 400M 18x8.5 rears w/ 255/40-18 conti rfts on the front and it clears the strut, fender, and fender liners with a 12mm spacer (which puts the offset at effectively a et35) of my F31.

I didn't drive the car outside of the neighborhood but no rubbing was apparent. Car is lowered on ACS springs -- similar to factory M sport suspension.

You may want to share the tire manufacturer with OP. If you're running Dunlop Direzza it probably wouldn't be an issue. If he buys MPSS or Conti he'll likely run into issues.

Yep, full lock cleared both sides of the fender liner (front of fender and rear of fender).

Also to note, the 255 Conti RFTs are decently wide... Actual section width was measured at 10.1" on the 8.5 wheel.

Treadwidth on MPSS will be around half an inch wider than the Contis

Should have noted i have the summer contis and not the all seasons. I think they measure out similarly to the mpss (tire rack inflated section widths on 9" wheels are 10.2 for both the conti and the mpss). Would be interested to know measured widths for the mpss in the wild for comparison to see if it is in fact that close.

255/40ZR18 Michelin Pilot Super Sports on 18x9 et42 Apex ARC-8s with a 3mm spacer up front here.
The car is my daily driver and I've also had it on track for a time trial event and there is zero rub.

I'm running PSS. Absolutely zero issues.

If you are rubbing with a 245, what is your height ratio. what tire are you running a 35/40/45???

Haven't seen it on stock wheels, but we did put 255/30/20 + 275/30/20 on VFF 103's for a 435i

No issues with rubbing
