I just coded it this morning. Software was already updated to one of the more recent I-Step (F020-13-11-502)
Tried it by putting it into Sport+, Shifter in DS, foot on brake and on throttle but I wasn't able to get the checkered flag to pop-up. Maybe still needed to drive it a bit longer before it would enable. BTW in addition to the 2TB in ICM, I coded EGS > 3000 > LC (Launch Control). My car already had Sport+ as it's the Sportline, and I had coded Sportschaulter_alt + Sportschaulter also. Will give it a bit more testing though |

To activate LC you put sport+ , DS, hold the brake and hit full gas pedal, then engine puts optimal rpm for start, you see the flag on dash board and have 5 sec to release brakes. This is how mine works: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMOFsX4v-p0 |

But it does hold the RPMs at 2500 before I let go of the brake. But as long as the Sport Auto part of it works, that's all good. Not like you launch your car every other drive, just wanted to see how it worked Last edited by Tim@codemybimmer; 01-19-2014 at 02:19 PM.. |

I drive for at least like five miles to warm the car up, maybe longer if you are in an even colder climate that I am (Florida). |

Just did this on my 2013 Sportline 335i and it worked perfectly. Shifts are noticeably sharper and I am glad the car will hold redline in manual mode.
One question, if I get a f30 steering wheel with paddles, can I just swap it with my current wheel and go? Or is there more coding that needs to be done to get paddles to work? |

Okok guys, how do I get LC on my 2013 328i? This looks awesome!! I already have sport auto and sport+. Does that mean I already have LC, or do I have to code it? If so, where do I buy the cable from? There was a link in one of these forums, but it's dead now

But keep in mind that you I-level supposed to be I-level .50 (F020_13_07_501) and above. If it is not then you will need to update it, eather with e-sys (risk involved) or go to your local BMW dealer and update it there. (in my city dealer took abt 45 USD to renew everything, no idea now much it is in the US) |

OR Tell them there's some electrical gremlin that's out to haunt you and a software update might help! OR Just ask your service advisor nicely |

My I-Step is F-020-13-11-502. 1) Is that equal to or higher than what I need to activate LC? 2) Is I-step the same as I-level? if not, how do I check my I-level?

How do I check my I-level? I have a 2013 and had BMW code the auto start/stop memory feature. They also updated my Control Unit software under a recall. So I would guess my I-level is ok. But just want to make sure
