Just got my winter wheels and tires put on.
18 x 8.5 ET35 Riva MX7 replicas with 225/45/18 Pirelli Winter Sottozero 240 Serie II RFT's. So far so good. The tire is a bit narrow for an 8.5" wheel but it's okay.

New Winter Wheels for my 435i
Thanks everybody for the information I have gained here as a new member. I picked up my 435i with Xdrive and the M I and II Performance Packages last spring and I love the car but was dissatisfied with the lack of choice on wheels. I am not really a fan of gun-metal grey. So this fall i decided to add a little sparkle to the car and selected a set of 19" Advanti FS Fastoso for my winter wheels combined with Pirelli Sottozerro run flats. My thoughts are that if liked them, these new wheels would become my summer wheels when I swap everything around next spring. I love them so decision made.

No kidding...the OEM 5 split spoke are a big enough pain.

Keeping the wheels glowing
Guys, thanks for the feedback. I am a bit anal with my wheels and hand wash them every week 12 months of the year, rain or shine (or snow).. This way, the brake dust just washes off and even though I have large hands, I can still get between the spokes with my mitt.

Finally got the 435i Xdrive M-Sport and got the winters on it.
Went with a satin finish black F10 replica (OEM Concepts RW-343) in 18" with square setup 225-45-18 Michelin Xi3. My wife & I are very happy with the way her car turned out for the winter. Just put on my winter shoes! Switched out the 18" staggered M Sports with downsized 17" wheels with Michelin X-ice tires.
These tires are so much better than my blizzak WS70s were on cold and dry roads. No floaty feeling with these tires and happy I went with 17s for winter and pothole season. Pic won't load |

I almost went with BMW OEM wheels (396 7 spoke), but really didn't think they'd look that good.
TireRack says these Rial R10's will go right on; no spacers or anything, so I went with them. Similar style as I had for E93, but went with black this time (against wife's opinion ). Spokes are narrower, too Pirelli Sottozero runflat tires, 225/45/R18 95V all around they're waiting for the wheels (due in this week) and the new TPMS that reads the actual pressure; due in in a couple of weeks; hopefully they'll get them. with the early arrival of winter weather, looks like I'll be driving son's Rogue. Glad it has remote start as it's kept outside. gonna put on its winter tires/wheels, too; they're on the OEM wheels. old winter wheels

I like the black wheels with the black car. I'm glad I went with black, including for the brake dust w/ the M Sport Brakes. My car is pretty black, too. btw, what % tint is that Joey? also, nice Firebird poster from the 70's I like the Rial X10's, too!

Had them with the car:
Dirty car with unknown wheels and studded Gislaved NordFrost 100. I don't plan on using the car that much this winter...

Just sporting the factory wheels with Blizzaks WS80s and removed the front splitter just in case. I feel naked without the Vossens on..

I like the silver painted as well, and was thinking of (reversibly) painting them black to try out the dark look. |
