OK Maybe because I used Bimmer-tech for the upgrade, I don't understand how it all works together. That being said I get everything but RTTI on the new unit, so I may just leave it be since I use Apple Maps/Google/Waze for traffic info anyway on Carplay. (2018 330iXt)

Its hard for me to say since I don't know exactly what you did, but it sounds like you're asking if the VIN will change on your BMW app? Your car's VIN will never change. If you retrofit electronics from a donor vehicle and want to see the retrofitted items, you'll have to go through the steps in the BMW app to 'add another vehicle', inputting the donor VIN when you do so.
