Ticking from under? 2017 f31

Hello,

I noticed the other day after driving, and still idling, that the car was making a ticking noise. Seemed to come from under the car. Listen for every 2 seconds.

It is not always present. Its there after longer car rides usually. Next time I hear it I'm popping the hood and seeing if its coming from there. Car runs beautifully in all other aspects.

Anybody familiar with the sound? Is it the def sprayer?

closetwagonlover - That is just the SCR system injecting DEF that you are hearing. Normal all around.

Have the same noise and been wondering what it was for years! Mystery solved.
