Oh yeah, sorry about the reminder!

Yep, this is my first BMW. I just did the math and it's going to be about the same deal with whichever program I go with (March or April). The higher residual with no $1500 credit comes about to be $2-3 less per month. I might use the April program because I also won't have to pay the tax on the $1500 lease cash credit from last month (another $129 bucks).

Ordered a 2016 340xi in February and it arrives this month. Does anyone have any experience with a scenario like this where the residual rates are significantly improved (.58 in Feb vs. .61 now)? Did you have success in getting the dealer to honor the rate from the delivery month versus the rate from the order month?

I'm in the same boat (sort of). I originally ordered my car in February as well, and then had the deal re-wrote in March. Still haven't taken delivery, but am thinking the dealer will do the same and re-write the deal for April.

Just have to keep in mind that you will loose the $1500 credit from March or the $1000 credit from February. No credits for April unless you have BMW Loyalty.

Ah, I missed that the $1,000 credit was only for Loyalty vs. a straight incentive available to all (knew my lease calculation seemed a bit too good to be true).

I'll at least have the conversation with the dealer and see what they come up with. At this point I just want it to be here...been waiting since Feb 17th.

Yep, I've been waiting since February 2nd! Car is stuck at the VPC.

I still think you should push to get the deal in April. The higher residual will probably bring the payment down $2-3/mo (even with loosing the $1000 or $1500 incentive and depending on your MSRP).

If your locked into FEB rates like I currently am, you can most definitely lock into the current rates. If the dealer says you can't, he might pocket the extra cash. There was an 1000$ incentive in FEB, even loosing that, April rates would save you about 20 bucks a month.

I ordered FEB 13th and still have about a month to go lol

if you didn't lock in the rates prior you will not be able to use them. Also if you locked in the rates you only have a 60 day east coast and 90 day west coast window. You must take delivery in that time to get the locked in rates.

I'm confused about this loyalty cash. On the BMW website it says you had to be a BMW financial services customer within the past 12 months to qualify. Is that true? I currently own a 2007 335 that I took off my father who bought it brand new. Would that qualify for the Loyalty credit?

If I had to guess, I would think you need to have an open account in your name within the last 12 months.

No. You need to have an open BMWFS account within the last 12 months to qualify

Well, that's too bad... you're right, according to the fine print of the loyalty program for April, the key qualification is the account with BMWFS, not with having owned a BMW in the last year.

See this link

For those who have followed the loyalty program in the past, is this sort of how it's always been?

I don't have any written records, but I have this idea in mind that I read the fine print of a previous loyalty program incentive from BMW some months ago and remembered thinking, "Cool, that's another $1K on account of owning a 20 year old M3 within the last year." Nothing about having an account with BMWFS, as the fine print says for April of this year.

Maybe the program will shift back to this other deal (which is quite possibly a mistaken notion I have in my mind) for May, when I think it's likely my 340i will actually make it here from Germany?

I thought loyalty was just having a BMW. I had a pre-owned E46 that was pretty old that I used as a trade in against my F30 lease and it was considered for the loyalty credit ($500 at the time). No prior account with BMW FS.

Do these numbers apply to demo CPO cars that have never been titled and can thus be leased as well? Thanks!

Not sure what programs they have for the 2015's, but 10k off sticker (of around 50k) is a fantastic deal. Enjoy the car!

Hi, I'm in LA and I got the below quote from the dealer for a 328i sedan, 10K/36mos.

MSRP: 43,795
Final Price: 40,195
Capped Fee: 925
Cap Reduction: 938.84
Adjusted Cap Cost: 40,181.16
MF: 0.001
Residual: 64%
Security Deposit: 3,000 (7 MSDs)
License Fee: 363
Upfront Fee: 1,041 (no details)
Total Tax: 1,489.66
Loyalty Incentive: 1,000
Drive Off: 4,960.08
Monthly: 442.30 (after sales tax 9%)

Is this a good deal? And what is the tax 1,489.66 included in the drive off? I thought tax is already added to the monthly payment.

And is it necessary to get lease protection? How much does it cost?

Thank you!!

340i xDrive order

First post, hello! I've learned a ton of stuff in the past few weeks and I'm very happy with this forum so far.

I've been looking at ordering a 340i xDrive and possibly PCD
- Mineral grey, saddle brown, ash trim
- M Sport, Track pack, tech pack, lighting, driver assistance, 442M, cold weather
MSRP: $61,295

I have around 6 dealers near me. The one seemed to shy away when I asked for about 7% off before incentives. Another has already said invoice plus $774 ($500 over invoice, $274 inspection, gas, detailing) coming to $57,804. A third has said $57,500 before taxes and fees. These are all before any incentives, which I believe would be $1500 this month ($500 from USAA).

These are all preliminary quotes but the two dealers seemed very willing to work with me. The one I've spent actual time at seemed to be a little resistant which is annoying. I'm also up for an out of state order through a sponsor but trading a vehicle in across the United States may be a bit of a hiccup.

Just looking for some initial deal advice and I'll revise and refine as I go along. I'll probably try to get a tail-end 2016 delivered in July.

Hello, newbie here and this is my first post. Planning to take the plunge on the below lease deal:

Year/Model: 2016 328i RWD SULEV
Color: Mineral Gray
Options: M sport, Premium, Driver Assistance, NAV, Heated Seats, Dakota Leather
MSRP: 50,195 (base:38350;options:10850)
Invoice: 46,830
Negotiated Price: 44,480
Net Cap cost: 43,980 (500 down)
Lease term: 36/10K
Residual: 64%
MF: .0015
Security deposit:3150(7 MSDs)
Fees Upfront: 1448
Sales tax at 8.75% - 133
Doc - 80
Acquisition fee - 925
Dmv - 400
Total Upfront: 5671 ( msd + fees + down + first month payment )
Monthly payment: 442 ( after tax at 8.75%).

Is this a good deal to go with? Have to say that the forum was incredibly helpful in understanding how BMW leasing works.

Thank you!

Not many if any references to used/CPO 435i GC's, so I'll post the deal I just got yesterday at United BMW of Gwinnett.

2015 435i GC
Carbon Black Ext/Black Int
15,061 miles
M Sport
Premium
Tech
Cold Weather
LED
Automatic High Beams
5 YR/75k CPO
6 Yrs Maintenance Plan
All Weather Mats
$43,668 + $699 Dealer Fee

Asking price was $46,668 if I remember correctly, so I am happy with this deal. Hope it is of help to someone.

Hello guys, new to the bmw world, but pulled the trigger on the 2015 clearances:

All prices in CAD below ($0.79 USD/$1CAD currently)

Year/Model: 2015 335i xDrive M Performance Edition
MSRP: $65,900 (Dealer had $68,500 as MSRP, I assume they tacked on PDI in the MSRP since PDI was $0 on my invoice)
Invoice: $?
Negotiated sales price: $58,500
Options/Packages: M Performance Edition (basically fully loaded)

Other Pertinent Information:
- 0.9% financing
- they threw in weathertech matts
- 2nd set of 18" wheels & snow tires for $1,600

Hope this helps. I think I got a good deal, but comment away if I didn't..!

How do I calculate an invoice price for a car?
http://www.hoopdi.com/index.php/car-...s/bmw-net-cost

I tried the above link and found the $52,593 is the invoice price for a car I build for $56,370.

I'm new to this forum, and I'm looking to purchase a 2016 BMW 428i Coupe.

What's a good deal for this build? I asked a dealer for $49,000 but they can't do it on a custom build, they said they have a car (in a color I don't like) with MSRP 55,195 - which the salesperson can offer a price around $49,000.

Experts, please advice...

$2,500 under invoice would be very rare on an order
