"Starting Navigation System"

Hey all, been away from Bimmerpost, spending most of the time on m3forum and getting into tracking the e46 M3. Just picked up a CPO 2014 328i as a DD and really like it.
However, I'm now getting a constant "starting navigation system" display when selecting NAV, and it seems to be just stuck there. Also, it says "loading" wrt music on my phone when I go to multimedia. Nav was apparently working on the delivery drive from the dealer to my house (dealer had the car driven 2 hours to me) and I swear it was working during the test drive as well.
Any insight?
Obviously I've notified the dealership

Try rebooting iDrive system? Hold down volume knob until it reboots, I think...

Dealer tried reloading software, no dice. Ultimately had to replace the navigation HUH module. Should get the car back tomorrow t verify that all the functions are working.
