I paint my rotor hubs with caliper paint, touching them up yearly when I do my tire rotation. After five years they still look new. As for the rusting of the rotors where the pads contact them after rain or washing, that gets rubbed off by the pads within a few minutes of driving.

Painted technique all the way, its the stupid orange bloom you get on the rotors right after washing. That drives me nuts all that junk blowing right back on the wheels after they are spotless thats what I can't stand. Like I said took a flyer on it already so will report back with results if not worthy guess I will just have to wait till hydes is back in stock .

I don't get junk on my wheels, probably because I treat them with this:https://www.ebay.com/p/2079588784?ii...BoCeKkQAvD_BwE
It's more expensive than most wheel treatments, but works well and lasts at least a year. |
