61126831264 was that part number for my F82.

As you have an F36 then it's possible the part number for the loom is different.

I pulled that part number off of realoem.com

Mine will be different than yours then as you pointed out. Be longer I would think.

There's one on ebay for £166 so looks like I'll be ringing the dealer on Monday.

Cotswold BMW were cheaper than any (OEM looms) that I found on Ebay.

cossie1 When you ordered the OEM loom, did it replace & plug into where the white centre plug goes on the REM, leaving the black plugs on the left & right of the REM intact?

Yes it just replaces the white plug, and if you have the reverse camera, it replaces that connection too from next to the REM to the bootlid.

I wonder why the instructions with the ebay harness adapter kit says to connect into the two plugs on the left & right of the REM when the LCI upgrade cable from BMW replaces the white plug in the center of the REM.

Anyway, I've ordered a cable from BMW, picking it up tomorrow.

New loom in. No coding. The inners power up! Yes! No indicators though, so...

Re-coded everything to the T again from the coding provided by UKF30 (thanks again for that) as it was coding that made everything work properly.

Everything working perfect now = happy days!

Now I need to recoupe some money back for this crap ebay harness but overall I'm chuffed to bits now it all finally works.

Thanks to everyone who helped, especially cossie1 of this thread, nice one brother!

I'm going to attempt this soon, I have two questions that I don't think have been asked before.

One, how long are people typically taking to do the retrofit (including coding)?

On the F31, I understand an extension is needed on the cable, what length of extension is needed?

Have just installed the black/shadow/m performance rear lights on my F30 MY64 following the BMW instructions, need a bit of help. The rear lights work perfectly, brakes, indicators, etc perfect. But when I activate rear fog it turns on my driver side reverse light.....any ideas. Coded using bimmercode by activating the lci code.

You are sure you set the right codings?
Can you show the list of codings or from where you've got it?

Ok, so I read through all this... I can't really follow most of it, but I have what I think is a simple question.
I'm not asking about either of the rear tail lights, but the rear reflectors near the bottom of the bumper below the tail lights.
I recently replaced the red reflectors, with black(smoked) LED lighted reflectors. All the instructions said was to get power from the rear tail light, black wire to black and red wire to red.
I don't know where to wire these new LED reflectors in. If anyone could help me find where to wire into the rear taillights, these should illuminate when braking or signaling if that helps.
Thanks a lot!!
