Is there an easy way or any tricks to remove the dried polish residue that has filled up the many small paint chips in my car's finish? My car has dark blue paint and the white color of the dried polish and sealant that fills up the tiny chips is such an eyesore to me. If the car was white in color it wouldn't be so conspicuous but on the deep blue color it stands out like a sore thumb. Our northeast winters are rough and the front bumper cover and hood have hundreds of tiny chips in it. Too much to repair unfortunately.

It should come out with rubbing alcohol. After cleaning it up you'll need to seal the paint again. I use Jescar Power Lock, when rubbed out it doesn't leave visible residue in pits in the paint.

Use cotton ear buds dipped in a 10% IPA/water solution

Thanks very much guys. I'll give it a shot with the IPA. May very well be the primer color but I don't believe so.
