Exclamation Bmw 4 f36 adaptive xenon headlights

Hello,

I am doing little retrofit for my F36. Car is EU version, originaly it was with xenon headlight. I have installed FLA camera, instrument cluster with HBA button, and adaptive xenon headlights (US version). Have flashed and coded VO, FLD, everything is working, except the high beams, cant even turn them on manually. I found some information that EU headlight and US have some difference with bixenon flap, that is responsible for the high beams. When i turn on the ignition, headlights are moving to the sides, auto levels, and in the begining there is a fast clicking sound from the bixenon flap. If i understand right the ecu tries to calibrate the flap, like in EU version headlight, when flap could be activated in different angles. US version headlight don't have this type of feature, it works only in two modes, off or fully open. So i receive fault codes of that bixenon flap, that it can't do a calibration, no sensor was found, faulty winding.

So my question is, is it possible to code the flaps that they would work only in two modes: closed and fully open? I have tested the flaps, they are functioning.

You could try to code the headlights with an US VO.
Maybe this works.
If Not you can also decode the adaptive function.
