San Diego climate provides a great perspective for weather-related car mods. I'm not sure, has it ever even rained there?

Thinking of getting these for my granny coupe to prevent shooting nasty chicago winter salts up my fenders.

Anyone have pics of these installed ?

Here’s a pic of the BMW 3-Series flaps on a 4 GC.

The F30 fronts won’t fit. I’m running only the rears. (The lower rear fenders were where I was most concerned anyway.)
I think I previously posted about the minor mods to make re: 2 new holes in the guards to pick up the different 4-series inner fender fastener locations.

Nice they don't look that Hideous I can deal + plus mine has a lot of black accents so they will blend.

On a scale of 1-5 how hard was the install of the rear

I have them on GF F30 they're really nice, the rear install is a bit fiddly compared to the front but not bad. You can email him at:

Maybe a 2 (you have to locate & drill two new holes in the flap to use the 4-series fender liner fasteners).

So here's the OEM BMW F30 mud flaps / splash guards on my 2015 435i RWD.

Fronts fit perfectly with no extra work needed...

Rears will fit, but you will need to drill two new holes to match up mounting points and trim the under (not seen portion of the flap under car). Maybe 30-46 min of more work.

Total side looks...

Here's where I drilled the three new mounting holes for the rear. The "slit" allows the screw to sit better against the flap inside.

The only other production notes is for the double-stick tape. Have a hair dryer or heat gun handy. Heat up the tape and surface before applying. And then once applied, hold with gator clips at least over night. Once on, it's water/weather proof!

That's very odd. Maybe there's TWO different OEM F30 flaps?

There's no way the fronts fit my 435iX - no existing fender holes are close, plus major cutting would be required. I'd need to drill new holes in my bodywork - not gonna happen. And it doesn't clear the 'air breather' right...

And my rears were a simple direct fit, 2 new flap holes, all existing fasteners, no trimming, and the bottom-seal flap fits perfect... Go figure.

If you ever go to certain tracks that have all these teeny tiny lil pebbles that your front wheels kick up into your rear doors and rear quarter panels. They leave scratches and sometimes very smalls dents. Also depends on whether or not you live somewhere with bad quality roads. They can be very useful my friend

do you mind posting another picture of how the flap mounts into the inner fender? Does the install require to take the back wheels off?

I got the TLG fronts yesterday super easy. I haven't gotten to the backs yet cause I have to take the wheel off which sucks. I do have concern about the flap being help by only 3 screws into the liner. Does it still hold up fine? I would think it would get loose over time?

I've had my TLG flaps on for almost a year and they haven't budged at all, still tightly affixed.

OEM ftw, rally armor is just Subaru and focus ST rice.

Paint stays much cleaner longer between washes and it looks great
