Headlight adapters.

Can anyone help me please. If I was to fit some h7 leds in my car can anyone tell me which adapters I would need please.

Mine is a f30 lci 2016. I've looked and there are quite a few and I'm just not sure.

Thanks for the help

Putting LED's in a reflector style lens is going to just blind oncoming traffic and you'll just get sick off been flashed.

If you want to improve the light output I would suggest you swap out the headlights for an aftermarket option with projector type lens.

This will give you the sharp cut off line you need with LED/Xenon bulbs to avoid blinding oncoming traffic.

The other issue with LED's is the varying ways the chips are mounted on the bulb. Even with projector style lens it can still throw the beam out.

I fitted some LED's to the Qashqai (projector lens). I bought LED bulbs that you can rotate to 'focus' the beam to get the cut off line required. Without this feature even in the projector lens it would've been a no go.

LEDs fitted in reflector headlights _should_ fail the MOT

Whether they would or not is another matter but I know the DoT are tightening up on this

Ok thank you both. I just saw a video on YouTube that showed led bulbs fitted in my car and the beam pattern was pretty much the same.

I'll knock the idea on the head. Thanks again for the replies I appreciate it

I’m pretty sure factory LED lights are in reflector housings. I appreciate the reflector design is probably different, but projectors are not necessarily a requirement for LED’s.
