Analog gauge or digital gauge?
Granted both types are electronic these days. While I prefer analog gauges over digital, I have to admit that Fx retrofit version from Bimmertech looks cool and seems easy to replace.
Anyone venture to replace their instrument cluster with a digital one? |

The digital MFD was a firm "must have" requirement when I was selecting an F36 to buy!
There are 3 reasons: - it is 2019 .... - Audi have had a much cooler and more functional MFD for years now - The analog gauge in BMWs is extremely outdated and has not changed much since the 90s! That orange glow-lamp backlight.... wake up Münich! But that's just my opinion.

I did the 6WB cluster swap in my 2018 F30 and a friend’s 2014 F30. I love it and it looks significantly better than the analog gauges in my opinion.
The coding thread about this is here: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1421853 |
