I have followed this thread for quite some time now and after a year or two I still haven’t seen anyone list the screen variant that I have... Figured I would share. It is the 1920x720 with 4Gb Ram, Snapdragon 625 w/LTE and the deep black screen/antiglare screen. It is manufactured by Carnavi (Carnavi was one of, if not the first makers of the 1920x720 antiglare). It has an MCU identifier of dALS. If someone would be willing to tell me how, I’m willing to extract and upload the MCU file for others if they need it. I have attached a picture of the MCU version string.

Thats not an uncommon Headunit, if you check the 1st page, you will find out that there are already two updates available for your MCU
Btw. Its not possible to extract the MCU from the headunit with our resources.

Hi guys. I've received the Fiio K3 USB DAC today. As soon as you connect it, you notice the quality increase. The problem is that sometimes when I start the car it doesn't works. I have to manually disconnect and reconnect the DAC and then it starts working, is that normal on this device?

And another question: I have an aftermarket backup camera but I can't figure out how to separate the parking lines to match the real size of my car. As you can see on the image, the lines are closer from what they have to be.

In my case it's on the compartment under the HU and the AUX cable goes directly to the quad lock on the HU. Please post if you are having the same problems as me, because maybe my unit is defective.

I also have problems with 4G using Movistar in Spain, sometimes it doesn't works and I have to turn on and off airplane mode.

Just unplug the android AUX OUT/AUX IN mini-jacks and connect the cable (3.5mm female plug)from USB DAC to the male 3.5mm plug (which cable is going to the OEM unit).

I use 1-component polyurethane black body/glass sealant (the same like is used for windshield glass) and seal around the lens of the camera (this is the weak part in car wash), mounting surface and seal also the place where the cable comes out of the camera, that's important if there's any condensed water drops appear inside the trunk - it happens in frosty weather, not sure if that is the case for you).

That total sealing definitely helps, especially in the hard and contrast weather conditions that we have in my area)

No, this is not normal.
Make sure you're using 2.3.6 firmware + Sound Restorer v1.2, your media sound level in Android settings is on max.
In my E70 it works like a charm but on F30 yesterday I noticed strange behavior when compared with/without DAC - android gets stuck and I could not access android sound settings, perhaps it doesn't like hot connection/disconnection.

Regarding the reverse camera lines unfortunately there's no possibility to calibrate them as like in oem camera. These android lines are indicative, don't reflect the actual width of the car.

I think I'll have to wait for my unit to arrive to determine what type of harness it comes with. From what I can tell from online video installs, it appears that not all harnesses have both AUX IN and AUX OUT mini-jacks available and connected to each other like yours and some others.

Any thoughts?

If you ordered the correct brand HU (like GS, LS) then it has these mini jacks. JLY (NOT recommended) has only female output 3.5mm.
What is the seller you purchased it from?

I bought mine from KANOR on Alibaba.

I believe their units are dGS, based on the System Info screenshot they sent me.
