So far, so good. I've been driving conservatively in D mode to let it adapt. I gave it some throttle in 6th once, and wow. Loads of torque.

Initially I kinda miss the stock shift map in D... Might go back to stage 1 (currently in stage 2).

can't say i'm terribly impressed out of the box....with stg3 map...sport+ is crazy...holding revs in gear to 5K + lol....

i was under impression there was end user adjustability on at least the stg3 flash...it looks as though there will be an available 'customization module' down the line....

after switching to stg2 map and a few miles (IIRC there is a dialog indicating 50+miles of smooth, easy driving for adaptations to take place), the s/s+ in m/s is awesome...snappy, punchy shifts, minimal slip...car definitely feels different and for the better....

$350 for the Super license doesn't seem so bad for finally resolving the torque limiter issue!

Waiting on feedback for PS2 owners.....anyone?

Dude, stage 3 with sport + is supposed to hold rpm that high. It's literally meant for the track, and it says this in their description.

Btw guys, I did a WOT 5th to 6th pull, held 16psi the whole time!

i realize that...thx...

i was under impression settings were/are end user adjustable...they are but for an additional charge of $50 or not ???

manual states 'customization module' is NOT supported for 8sp...but module is right there ready to be purchased in app...

i'll try stg2 map...i think that maybe more suitable...

hmm..kind of mixed reviews here. I think I will wait a bit to further evaluate. With other mods I've done such as JB4, MHD and shockware been really happy and had no regrets. Maybe some bugs need to be worked out.

Alright, so I'm back at my computer finally.

Some notes:

1. Torque limits have indeed been raised. Everything feels "right" now, with my stage 2 tune. I hit and held 16psi in 6th gear.

2. I flashed stage 2, and one of the noted features here is supposedly faster paddle response time. TBH I didn't notice any difference, and I was looking for it. Pretty sure it felt the same. Edit: this was human error, see my next post.

3. The price - for me it was worth it to get my car's full power. I could see why other people would be hesitant to pay full price if stage 2 and 3 don't seem worth it to them. Honestly now that I've tried stage 2, I would have been perfectly happy with just stage 1. Anyone on the fence, possibly consider waiting to see if they eventually release a general license so you can save a bit?

Ohhh I figured out why my shifting wasn't as fast as I expected!

Shift speed with the shift in Manual on stage 2, sport mode is 2 (out of 3). In sport+ it is 3.

For myself and I figure most around here, the price is really not a big factor. It becomes are there noticeable differences or worse, do I really like the mod. Never want to spend money and time and then don't like it. You have to figure for $500 a flash tune or JB4 gives a huge difference. Shockware was $400 and was not a massive change but really smoothed out steering and suspension.
So, maybe not looking for the huge wow factor that increasing boost gives, but a general overall upgrade.

Not seeing a difference in paddle shifting is not a good sign in my book.

That was my fault, the shift speed in sport mode is not supposed to be the fastest shift speed. I needed to put it in sport+.

Wasn't able to really push it as it's pretty snowy here, but I did a pull in 3rd gear and there definitely isn't anymore torque limiters. Transmission is noticeably smoother. I flashed straight to stage 3 (Thor Wifi Adapter, took 6 minutes install, 50 seconds for OTS map flash) I'll definitely update when it's more dry and I can do a couple dragy runs.
