Deleted muffler, still under regulations

Hey fam,

I really wanted more sound from my F30, I've done some research, I do not want to fork up the $$ on an expensive exhaust (over 1-2k) and hinder state regulations with smog and noise. I decided to keep the CATS and resonator and only delete the muffler. I am pretty impressed, it sounds amazing (even the blowoff valve sound increased)

Video coming soon.

Stay tuned!
@radf30 for the video

I do want to get a dual "Y" pipe, just need a proper bumper, or diffuser, any recommendations?

Nice! Yeah, I am looking for an M rear bumper with dual outlets. Might be difficult with color matching etc. Never done it before.

Car Medic (formerly pekok automotive) in yorba linda can paint match it for you for a very reasonable price. The owner's name is Luis and he is a cool guy. Tell him James sent you, if you go (I don't get anything, I just always try to send him business)

ebay usually has a ton of kits. I'd probably just do the whole set (front, sideskirts and rear) if you're going to do it though

Find a dual outlet rear diffuser either from a 335/340 (MSport or standard depending on what rear bumper you have) - the part will be pre-painted gray from the factory, there are always some for sale and you shouldn't pay more than $40.00 used (just this morning I had a fellow member pick up 3 from me all for $50.00). The swap will take maybe 5 mins at most.

BRO Muffler in HB is great for the piping - you already have a muffler delete, BRO will make a Y pipe for you install it and you are done. While on the lift they can swap the diffuser. At the same time you can have some 3.5 tips welded on if you'd like

Hope this helps

Now that is what I am talking about! I am going to do some research on the rear bumper diffuser, by the looks of it, I might have to swap out the whole rear bumper.
