The 335d in the first add has a top spec. Says it has adaptive cruise but can't see the radar block in the lower grille? Regardless the first car would be my choice.
The car has extended storage but high spec cars like this won't have the drivers cubby because that's where they put the buttons for lane departure etc. Test drive is a must and check that the EGR cooler has been replaced under the recall. Good luck.

Also the adaptive headlights are a nice option, particularly the automatic high beam |

I’d opt for the higher spec model every time. As someone who has just purchased a F31 335D I waited and searched a long time to get the spec that I was after. There will always be a compromise at some point, regarding spec, mileage and cost.
Regarding the map. I’d get used to the car initially as quite simply its a beast at stock anyway. It’s very quick in D. Sport is another level! I have never felt (at the moment) that the car could do with an extra 70-100 BHP. Regarding spec, def list the must haves, this will help you sift though the rest. I was dead set on a pan roof after having one on a my previous Audi. This is the double edged sword factor. Once you experience a high spec car you can’t go back! This is why I had to wait ages to get the F31 that was right for me. |

18 months ago I switched from an E91 330d to an F36 435d fully spec'ed. And couldn't be happier.
Both have been mapped to a decent level. The F36 has all options besides heated steering and heated rear seats. But I had to search in Germany for almost a whole year to find the one with the specs I wanted. Go for a 35d with all the options you can get. And wait for the right one before you pull the trigger!

Adaptive on VW cars is much better (had it on our 2015 Octavia and now our 2019 Tiguan). |

I believe you can actually change the cruise control distances via coding in ESYS although couldn't find any info on a quick google but I'm sure I sure the values in there |

I think the OPs examples were both pre LCI - like you say, LCI is fine.

How are you guys finding such well equipped examples? I found it hard enough to find an M-sport with pro nav and LED/xenon headlights! HUD, front cameras, ACC? Never seen them available before!

I would not be bothered about spec now with these F30\31 models.
They are old shape and what you will pay you are not going to get back with extras anyway. If you want to keep it a long time fine, that’s your enjoyment. The biggest thing with older cars and reselling over the next 5years is BHP to the chav that wants big wheels, we have moved on. |

I spent over 18 months looking daily for the spec i wanted. I spend about 60 hours a week in the car covering great mileage on all sorts of roads so the driving experience (adaptive suspension, m sport brakes) coupled with comfort options like the pan roof were key. I found my car through a dealer in Manchester

Get a mega mega spec 320d then. If you're doing low mileage and its all motorway, you may just be wasting money by having a faster diesel.
Spec is obviously high on your list and you'll get a lot more for your money. A 320d is more than capable of going up and down the motorway Just a thought |

OP, if all you are really doing is motorway mileage and you'll not really enjoy the B road blast or weekend drive, you'll be able to get everything you want spec wise. It also pulls very well and it'll keep most cars honest if you need to, still quicker than 90% of cars on the road and the other 10% are on here in 35d or 40i Again, just my thoughts. Armaan |
