help! fitment question.

I just ordered new wheels and tires for my 328I and I was wondering if a 245/45/18 would fit in the rear without rubbing lowered on H&R sport springs?

I hate to plug my own instagram but if you check it out, I have 245/40 and 275/35 on 19s.

I'd post a few pictures on here, but, all my files are huge and I'm at work

That's the setup I have on my lifted (rather than lowered) F32.

So 17s won't fit on my front due to big brakes.

I was thinking 18x8.5 with 255/40/18 tire up front
and for the rear 17x9.5 with 275/40/17

255 on 8.5 bulges a bit. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it, 245 would be a more sensible choice.

I wouldn't imagine running smaller wheels in the rear over the front, that's just wrong...

Here is mine with 255/40/18 on 18x8.5 et38 lowered about 2.5"

I'm going to go with 245/40/18 for the winters and see where it goes from there

What tires are you running? And what do your rears look like?

It's odd it looks bulged on 8.5's as 255's are the OEM size on 8.5" wide wheels.

Thanks!

328i xDrive with Dinan Springs rolling on Michelin MP4S+Apex FL-5's for summer and Alpin PA4+Apex EC-7's for winter all spec'd at 245/45 on 18x8.5et35. I have around 5" of ground clearance with the front lip.

I have a few other pictures posted around.

Like I said before, it only looks right if you're running a small wheel with a big radial on the back. But really no reason to daily on a small wheel, and it looks really dumb just running a tall summer/all-season tire. But OP seems hellbent on running that setup.

It looks bludged on the stock wheels too.

Finally I get a spot on picture of the specs I'm going with. Fronts look a tiny bit more stretched than I would like and the rears look ok.

I wanted to go with 245/275 but the PS4s doesn't come in 275/40R18.

245/40/ZR19 square

I would have gone wider but my wheels are 19x8 so I maxed them at 245.

I too really like the meaty look.

-2 camber in the rear which is just about factory spec, and I think I have -.9 ish in the front as I can't adjust it.

The only time I rub is in reverse on a hill with the wheel fully locked. And even then it's not 100% of the time
