How are you keeping yours clean? Any particular products that work well with mineral grey?
Me either re real life quartz. Think those individual paints cost 5k when new, and seem to have a much better resale value than other options.

Crazy re oil change, is indeed so cheap these days, even from BMW amazingly! I'm about to do the opposite and get an additional interim change for a track day.

Must admit I'm not as OCD as others re cleaning. Just use the local valets. I did take out a discounted 3 year offering when I bought the car for bodywork scratches and alloy/wheel repair, so maybe I'm a bit more relaxed about nicks.

Gorgeous car mate. My 435d is mineral grey and was considering the eyebrows, you happy with them?

Thanks mate

Pretty much every single one i found on ebay are fake carbon. You will need to wrap or paint them to make them look acceptable IMO. Fitment though is perfect.

I will post some pics when it goes body colour as I haven't quite made up my mind. Either way they cover the chrome at the top of the headlight which is a win!

Your welcome and I think body colour might be better. Will you paint them your self?

Agreed, it will blend in with the bonnet more seamlessly i think.

I have done some painting in the past but I will most likely send off to my local body shop.

Car is looking good bro, and all the mods are coming along nicely

Not to keen on the eyebrows in gloss black though...

Looking to get myself a Performance rear spoiler and front splitter, gives the car that meaner look.

Thanks bro

Yeah the brows will be changing soon. It's a shame I can't find any mineral grey wrap before committing to painting!

I can't wait to see how your F36 turns out. The front splitter design is actually a lot better then the F30s i think. Should look great!

Getting that exact colour match would make it perfect so might be worth going for it!

F3Xs do look on point with all the performance parts, suits them well.

Don't think I will be jumping into much exterior mods until later on in the year tbh, but making a wishlist though
Where did you get your spoiler and splitter, haven't seen much in gloss... mostly matter black is what is up for sale. I am contemplating whether to go Carbon on all exterior accents and performance parts...

Will focus on safety aspects and interior comforts first

Looking forward to see what else you have planned!!!

Spoiler: https://ebay.us/FKXTUp

Splitter: https://ebay.us/d3mY72

Yeah the majority of stuff online is matt but IMO looks a little unfinished.

Carbon is a good shout for you. Even forged carbon looks good. Might give forged mirror caps a go if i can find it for a decent price.

Oh and the splitter is a great optical illusion. Makes the car look lower but in fact the clearance is very similar to stock. Great mod.

Keep us posted

Yeah not the typical mods I go for but worth mentioning you won't catch the calipers/v brace reflecting back at you 90% of the time. Only shows up in certain lighting and angles.

I saw a rolling shot of them on a dark motorway once and I knew I had to have them

The real question is how the hell did you wrap your calipers?

+1

Does the heat from the brakes not affect the wrap?

Does look quite cool though!

Haha, it really is an intricate job that takes a good couple hours to do properly.

Thanks mate - it's a special high heat wrap.

The red version is very cool, like the caliper is glowing red hot.

Beautiful looking car mate, not massively keen on the lighter blue calipers/crash bar wrap though.

Out of interest and excuse my ignorance but what version of the straight 6 does the 335i have? Is it the N55? Have it in my M135i and it's amazing.

Thanks mate. Yeah the light blue is quite marmite it seems, i personally wish they were even more visible

Mine's the N55. Which is the updated version of the N54

I totally agree I love how she pulls & sounds. The burbles in sport+ make me weak at the knees.

Yeah its so nice. I'm going to get the touring again and torn between the 335i and 340i, I think the only difference is the N55 and B58 engines and some better deals to be had on the 335i. They all really hold their money which is a good thing.

Enjoy mate
