430i Midpipe Suggestions?
Hi,
I just found out that AWE has discontinued selling the 430i midpipe section to the US for legal reasons. I was wondering whether the 428i midpipe will fit? Since it seems like they are the same? If not, any suggestions for other similarly priced midpipes from other brands? TIA |

I did more research and don't think 428i midpipes will work. After looking into more 430i midpipes, I came across eisenmann or supersprint. The eisenmann is a bit out of my budget, which leaves me with supersprint. Has anyone used their midpipes? Any other brands I may be missing out on? |

If you do not have a downpipe it would be highly recommended to keep your egt's down and would have the largest performance gains. If you are looking for a mid-pipe you can have someone fab one with mandrel bends fairly reasonably or you can go to any exhaust shop and have them fab one with crush bends if you size the pipe 1/2" to compensate the crush bends and get the same if not higher performance then the 3" mandrel bent pipe for a fraction of the price. It all depends on your budget. I would guess for the crush bends you would pay somewhere between $100-$200 and for the custom mandrel bends pipe $400-500 plus materials which you can get from Wolf Aircraft for around $100. Wolf Aircraft also does black label products and if your nice to them may already have the pipe in there cnc mandral pipe bender.
