Jack stand adapter

Anyone use these? I have those very jack stands and am thinking these look like they would work well, but I wanted some feedback. Will be performing a trans service soon and thought these might work well without having to invest in new equipment.

I actually just bought those for the same exact reason (plus diff. fluid). Didn't want to shell out $200+ on four ESCO stands. Will let you know how they hold up (no pun intended).

Please do. I went ahead and ordered them anyway. Wasn’t about to shell out the money for the ESCO’s or Rennstands.

Ive got these. they are very solid and have been great through the work Ive done on mine. It sets into place really nice and refuses to move. I was very comfortable under the car even with the pulling that was done trying to get the OEM CP out.

I would recommend.

I just used liquid nails and glued my jack stand adapters to my jacks. No problems whatsoever

I was using an adapter but picked up Safe Jacks with adapters for the various cars we have, much easier to get the car up now

Yes. Funny thing is that I bought the jack stands and three days later there’s a recall. The ones I bought didn’t fall under the recall though. There’s an item number on the box, so mine are good. That said, I may return them anyway. I thought to myself before I bought them that some things that your life may depend on, like jack stands, perhaps shouldn’t be bought from HF.

They sell similar ones at the mainstream auto parts stores. Only problem is I need to make sure now that the adapters fit or I’m back to square one.
