I've searched this extensively but not found a definitive answer. Has any successfully fitted the M Performance side skirt blades on a non M Sport side skirt? I've the ED model which is the same as the SE.

I've found an alternative made for the standard F30 by Maxton Design so currently considering these but would prefer the M Performance blades if possible to match my M Performance front splitter (I have the M Sport front bumper retrofitted).

Or has anyone got photos of the Maxton Design blades on their non M Sport as they don't look too dissimilar to the MP ones but I would like to confirm before I buy.

Also before anyone suggests it I know that I could upgrade to the M Sport side skirts first but then I would have to pay for these too as well as having to get them painted and fitted so have decided against this. Once I add the decals (without the M Performance logo) I think it will look fine anyway as per this link:

Cheers for the heads up but I've spoken to my regular bodyshop who do a lot of work on BMW's and he reckons he has fitted the M Performance extensions to a SE before so I've ordered through him and will update once fitted

Update for anyone looking for an answer to this in the future. Unfortunately the M Performance side skirts extensions did not fit my SE side skirt. Apparently the M Sport side skirt is chunkier than the SE so when the garage fitted the extensions, the bit that should fit under the skirt stuck out too much as the inside edge was also curved like the outside edge whereas the SE skirt is straight.

The shop owner assured me he could get hold of a different aftermarket M Performance version though where the inside edge was straight whilst the outside edge would still be curved but after a few weeks of chasing him he said these went missing in the post. :

In the end he did sort it out for me though by fitting some from Maxton Design here in the UK that are designed specifically for the SE model. This was my backup option anyway. Although they do not have the curve like the M Performance version they are a perfect fit for the SE. Both the inside and outside edges are straight so it fits flush and I'm still happy with the overall finish. If anything they probably suit the car better anyway since the M Performance one is designed specifically for the M Sport skirt.

Thanks buddy! I'm very happy with them, like I said they are a perfect fit and probably suit the car more than the M Performance ones would have anyway. I like them so much I can't stop looking back at my car now
