Makes you wonder where the pressure is coming from? Are there large dealers in the US which are site sponsors perhaps? It's usually money that talks.

It would be very disappointing if we become unable to say anything negative about BMWs or particular dealers.

To a large extent forums like this work in BMW's favour - how many times have people been encouraged by their peers to move higher up the BMW range... There are bound to be criticisms, but by its very nature the site will tend to be populated by those who rate BMW above the alternatives.
