Had a test drive in this today
And am now haggling. But already received a very good price on a pre-built model (fully loaded, apart from laser lights), and been offered approx the same price for my F32 435D as I paid last year when I bought it, and after clocking up another 10k KMs.
M440D can certainly pick up its skirts Torque is my drug. Biggest takeaway from the test drive is the quality of the cabin and refinement. It seems to be more 5 series than 3 series now in cabin quality and NVH. Stop-start is pretty much seamless now too. Very nice. I know the semi-conductor shortages are playing havoc with the options. The prebuilt car has a lot of options that I know are either in short supply or not offered. Very tempting ... D.

That's a stunning colour - it seems to have a pearlescent quality too. Completely agree that the G2x is a huge step up in build quality.

Nice looking car, that. I'd have one I'm a heartbeat. Saw one exactly the same in BMW Milton Keynes car park a few weeks ago, certainly stopped me in my tracks. The front end on these doesn't really offend me too much and obviously blends in more on a darker finish anyway.

I thought that was an 8 series to begin with

Unfortunately, the car I have been offered is not in that lovely green colour. I borrowed that car from the BMW Experience centre.
First time I had seen that colour in the flesh - a lot of these new colours are just not represented in the configurator well, or photograph well. It looked very subdued and subtle until it hit sunlight. I don't have any other photos as I spent my time driving around a lot of different B roads. The road in the photo is a tight, almost single track road, winding down from the hill top. I found the E92 to be crashy and lead-footed on those types of roads. My F32 with adaptive is good, though firm. This G22 was another slight improvement, good body control without being unnecessarily firm or jarring and with less suspension noise. Haggling continues (for an Artic Race Blue model). Very close to deal. D.

Excited for you! Also, very refreshing to see some love for the new 4 Series.

Most dealers have ordered San Remo on Oyster and it looks good.
I'm really surprised so many here haven't seen this green. There isn't a dealership without as it's the new colour.
