624m wheel repair.

Hi has anyone had the above repaired?
Reason I ask is my friend said that they can’t be repaired without losing the silver inlays.

The damage is only to the rim of the wheels the face are fine.

Surely you wouldnt lose them as they are in the spokes?
You can also mask them if repainting.
