Possible to fix very small dent?
I created a very small dent in the lower bumper while installing a rear diffuser. Is it possible to somehow fix this without taking it to a shop? It’s not really noticeable, but still bugs me

And steer clear of do it yourself PDR kits. If you overwork the metal, it may be impossible to fix without traditional body repair.
I recently watched my PDR guy take out a big dent on a brand new pickup truck that was damaged during shipping. The dent was just above the rear window, next to the third brake light. I was surprised where he started... not by pulling the center of the dent with glue-on attachments or by pushing from behind, but by tapping it on the edges with a soft hammer, causing the center to pop up. That kind of experience, and understanding the stresses on the metal, makes the difference between an invisible PDR repair and a hot mess that looks like a bowl of lumpy oatmeal. |

In the lower part of the bumper? So... a dent in the plastic?
Take it off, heat it with a hairdryer (or place it in the sun for a while) and push it back from the back. I’ve removed quite big dents from bumpers this way without any issues. Little heads up: depending on the dent, the paint may be stretched. After pushing out the dent this will leave wrinkeled paint afterwards. Nothing you can do about that, the paint stretched when the dent was made, not when removed. |

Are you near the MD area? If so I would highly recommend giving a call to Ars Dent Repair from Baltimore. He worked on my car and my wife's car. Both results were amazing. Beyond our expectations. You won't be disappointed https://www.arsdentrepair.com

I have an acorn looking dent on the hood of my 328, its like the size of a dime, its small but its there, do you think the rubber mallet on the edges would work? Is it even possible to get rid of a dent that small?

A photo would be helpful, but do yourself a favor & fight the urge to get the mallet out - have it looked at by an experienced PDR tech.

Get a local, reputable PDR for that.
