My F20 dimm the DRL, but i dont know about the F30.

I installed the original xenon headlights, but without control units. Connected aftermarket xenon lamps and set the level of light at a car repair shop. Everything works fine, but there is an error on the automatic headlight leveling system. due to the fact that it is simply not connected, because no control units. Can you please tell me how to disable this system using coding?

Good day all, just picked up an f25 x3 and I am very interested in the coding topic. I have done a few mods on it so far. I installed a MMI with a forward facing camera, backup camera, a mirroring unit (to put my phone screen on the cic screen) as well as a hard wire on a dash cam and escort radar detector. I want to upgrade the lighting with led's and I know in my 99 328i convertible when I changed to leds I got the dreaded error messages all the time. I understand in my x3 I can code it to not error when I change to led lighting as well as many other changes I can make. This is were I need help. I have read a bunch of posts about coding and the benefits of customising and really want to try it. My problem is I don't know were to start. I know will need an obd plug as well as software but witch ones and were to buy them. In advance I thank you all for any advise it's greatly appreciated.
