Is it customary to adjust the residual on demos?

2yr/12k
Residual 68%
Adjusted residual: 66.14%

3yr/12k
Residual 62%
Adjusted residual: 60.14%

Yes they subtract for the existing mileage on the car

Yep, 1st 500 miles "free", then the residual gets adjusted downward 25 cents per mile thereafter.

Just as an additional clarification, some models are .30c a mile over 500 (like 7 series).

Exactly how many miles are on the car? I would want to see the actual calculation instead of just the percentage.

I ended up passing on the car. Discount came out to 18%, not enough to justify it being a loaner. I picked up a new 2017 at 17% off MSRP.
