Tint in NYS

Hello guys, I was wondering if anyone could give me their experience with having lower than 70% tint in New York. I can do without my F30 looking like a fishbowl, and if anyone knows a doc I could go to get the exemption that would be awesome.

I have 25% all sides and 40% windshield only place I've ever had a problem was Albany... everywhere else Is completely fine
