Peridot Green - WTF?
I know people are "individual" but really?
And to top it off, the owner must have had a Scooby beforehand as they decided to get the wheels done in Subaru Gold. https://www.bmwblog.com/2021/04/16/v...m340i-touring/ |

The owner is on the G20 section...
I like it, the gold wheels wouldnt be my choice but at least its individual. I hope its a keeper given the cost of the paint (in fact total cost of the car before the wheels!) If I am honest, one of the reasons I didnt buy a 3 series was the lack of colour choice and another was the ceridium trim of everything black. As it turns out I went everything black except the paint in another brand - and in a colour I could have got the 3 series in. Maybe I was just making excuses to myself....? |

It's amazing.
Top quality individual that. The chap who runs Petrol Head Tours I believe. Once I've scuffed a few might give the wheels a Matt Bronze on mine. Green is making a huge comeback I see. Touring moneyshot

Like the green and black or silver wheels would not look as good.
On balance I would though have personally spent the extra cash on an Alpina B3 |

I like that green, but wasn't what I was expecting when I read it was Peridot green. Porsche have a green named the same and it's very different! It was the launch colour for the 987 Cayman R.
I think I prefer the BMW version. Gold wheels certainly seem to be making a comeback of late, though it's a more subtle Matt or bronze version that I tend to see on a few M cars and some others.

it's the colour of algae but I love it. The gold wheels make the car come alive. I would also spec the grille in gold. I don't like the name of the colour though 'period green' wtf

Did the M2 CS come with the same colour wheels? Remember seeing something in one of Harry's garage!

The 763M wheels that come with CS models can be had in gold, and a few folk have bought them for standards M2,M3 and M4

So do I 😁👍 Quote:
Yeah, I'm still not convinced on the gold. Weirdly I like them more with a coating of brake dust, making them darker... Quote:
And that was without lavalina or the big brakes. And whilst the RS4 is a great car, it just isn't as good for what I use it for, and again would have been around £80k in the spec I wanted (before discount). This is, after all, just a sensible family bus. Frankly anything more than a 320i was an extravagance, but I don't regret my decision for a second. Still not sure about the gold though...

I love the green and like the gold, but yeah, it's definitely a very bright gold! Maybe a more bronze finish like Fiat Marron Volcane which is a little darker would keep the unique look of green/gold but tone down the brightness if you wanted to try a similar but alternate colour? I believe it's a pretty close look to the Volk bronze.

Mine is a dog carrier, and I love the understatedness of my chav white with black wheels, looks like most other A4 estates I see on the M1....just goes a bit quicker! Health to enjoy, oh and the scotland tours look fab but way out of my price range |
