Feedback Requested: What F30 M-Sport Color to choose
I'm planning to order an F30 M-sport 335i as soon as they are made available. I really like the Estoril Blue II color but am also considering the Mineral Grey color. I plan to add several of the M Performance Carbon Fiber options to my car (http://www.f30post.com/forums/attach...6&d=1331045959). I'm mainly interested in the carbon fiber front splitters, rear spoiler, rear defuser, and blades for the side skirts as well as the side mirror covers. My thought is the carbon fiber add ons will be more subdued and look better with the mineral grey color. I think they might stand out and be too obnoxious on the Estoril Blue color. If you were planning to augment an F30 M-sport with carbon fiber options, which of these two base colors would you choose and why? Thanks in advance for the input.

I would so go with the Estoril Blue II color if I was going for the M-Sport.. there's too many people already who have the Mineral Grey imo. Plus, tbh, I've seen the grey one irl and it's nice but it wouldn't be my choice
As for the carbon fiber, I think it would especially look cooler when it stands out a bit. If you don't want it to stand out, why would you put it on in the first place?

As a somewhat older guy, 47, I think I'm a bit more conservative than some of the folks on this board, but you're points are well taken. I'll be interested to see what others have to say.

Haha, I am younger but not by that much, only about 10 years As you can see in my signature, I made a pretty conservative choice myself with my order
I love how the M-Sport looks but I don't know if I would buy it, it's funny to say at this point but I think I am too old for that car. I skipped on the 335i because I didn't need that extra power and loved how the 328i handled and on the Sport Line because I don't like the stiffer suspension. My choice of color was just based on what I would chose if I indeed would go for the M-Sport

As an owner who LOVES MG, (I ordered mine in MG) I would still go with the EB II because of the association it has with the M-Sport. It's almost like you'd be giving up an option in choosing any other color.

EB II is what I ticked on my 328i M-Sport order sheet.

You should choose some color other than EB II.....that way my car will be more unique when I order it in EB II.

Fords, Mazdas, Nissans etc. Large and small in this very nice looking colour. Although they are not F30's, they do look very nice, no matter what make of car they are (well almost). EB II is a very nice cloud indeed! In F30 M-Sport mode, it will be THE BEST!!!

I was thinking EB as most of you but without having seen it in person I am beginning to think it is too much. I want the msport look but I do not need a car that says "come here and scratch me with those lovely keys".
Maybe the EB might even be so intensive that I get fed up with it. Now I am thinking AW with msport. I would not consider AW without msport but it goes up from 2 of 5 points to a strong 4 for me together with msport. |

Yeah, I might change my mind but I need to see it in real life first
On the other hand, white shows the msport lines and contours better and saves some money other things. |
