F32 on H&R Super Sport Springs

3 months into ownership and I finally lowered my car. I just did springs for now, but I'm pretty satisfied. I didn't notice a significant change in ride comfort or handling, but I don't push the car very often and the roads here aren't that bad. It passed the wife test and the sleeping baby test, so that's good enough for me. I'll probably still upgrade to coilovers when budget allows so I can dial it in exactly how I want it, but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on them.

How she sits now

And here's what she looked like with the stock MSport Suspension

It was still working for me but I tried reuploading them. Hopefully it works for everybody now.

Suprised you like them... From all the reviews I've read, they ride terrible and the struts bottom out

What's wrong with X Drive?
the only time i really feel them is over bridge transitions on the highway. the msport suspension is already fairly stiff, and i don't have adaptive suspension so i've gotten used to the ride i guess. but it doesn't feel any more stiff than stock during regular driving on regular roads.

and i think he was referring to the fact that these springs don't fit xdrive cars.

Looks awesome. I have my super sports sitting in my garage ready to be put on. Glad it passed the wife and sleeping baby test, for my girlfriends sake.

Thanks. I keep hearing people say that it's bumpy or crashy and I'm not sure why. The stock suspension was really no different. It's a sports car and feels like one. But it's in no way jarring or lacking composure when I encounter bumps.

If you're used to lowered cars or the base msport suspension, you'll like be fine. If you want it to drive like a benz, this isn't for you.

I've for sure experienced the bumping and crashing you referenced, i think its really in comparison to the base suspension set up. my car specifically was super soft and kind of floaty with the stock set up. in comparison, the H&R's are extremely bumpy.

That being said, i dont regret the springs at all, but they cannot be compared to the base suspension with ride quality in mind. i 100% agree with your comment about being fine if youre used to lowered cars.

Your car looks awesome BTW!!

Thank you. I'm hoping that at some point I can ride in a car with adaptive suspension or x-drive to see how it compares, because I don't have a frame of reference for either of those. Even the F30 sits slightly higher and rides softer than an F32. So I guess I technically got the least comfortable setup that the factory offers. Maybe when I get a loaner in the future I'll get to pick something along those lines.
