Thanks for all of the kind comments about my recovery. I'm sorry if I haven't gotten to some requests. I'm in the process of searching and trying to get a new career as well as going to grad school and moving. As I am typing, I'm downloading and reinstalling the newest version of ISTA and a fresh install of windows. I will try my best to get to everybody's requests as soon as I can.

I also hit a pot hole and it broke the guard under the car and busted my SCR Reservoir and just got quoted 2.5K from the dealer. I'm probably going go into a law suit if the landlord does not want to pay for the damages. Rough times guys!

Hey Kyle, glad your recovery went well. Also congrats on the career move, starting grad school, and the move. As a military member I'm all too familiar with picking up and moving. Sorry to hear about the pot hole, sucks.

I was wondering if you could provide a maintenance schedule for my 2013 f30 328i -
Last 7 VIN = NR46584

I'm also new to the forum so any other pertinent info on the car you can provide would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Hi Kyle_Figueroa, I just sent you a PM, although I noticed you're pretty busy so I'm not sure if you'll be able to reply.

To anyone else reading, would the information that Kyle has include any open customer service campaigns (i.e. secret extended warranties) for certain components? Or does this information exist publicly anywhere else?

My car is out of warranty, and it would be great to know what items the BMW dealership would repair/replace for free as a result of an open campaign.

Hi Kyle!

If you could provide recommended maintenance schedule for my car, that would be awesome. When I was purchasing the car, they had like a little chart when they tried to convince me to buy maintenance package.

Service Schedule

Hi Kyle.

Same question again, I'm afraid. Could you please PM me the service schedule for D208708. It's a UK vehicle, but I wouldn't have thought that would matter if you're getting it from the VIN.

It's really hard to get this info if you don't have ISTA. Here in the UK we use the Haynes manuals, but they don't have one for the UK F30/F34 cars yet - just the US. And the Bentley manuals are a bit pricey.

So we really appreciate what you are doing. Thanks!

Quick question, is the "Vehicle Check" on the CBS actual B.S. and just easy money for the dealership? $192 seemed ridiculous for what they did

Hi Kyle

Could you please send me the service schedule for a 2016 LCI F30 320d M sport K839921, It's also a UK vehicle. The onboard CBS doesn't give much info in relation to which filters, etc need to be changed and at what miles.

First service at BMW main dealers said oil and Microfilter changed in I-drive, I plan on doing my own services and would like to follow the schedule as closely as possible.

Great work on sharing with the community and many thanks in advance.

Differential Fluid question. Been reading and searching forums. I’m almost certain that my 2013 BMW 335i 6MT has an open differential. Many have said, BMW stopped putting/offering LSD on 3 series and 1s since the 90s. So the E9x a fortunate in this. The Ms have LSD. So my question is, I want to use Redline, called the rep and he suggested 75x85 because that’s what our open diff calls for. Is this true or is what other members who are suggesting/discussing that using RL MT-90 75w90 is the go to? And also how many quarts? Others and also the Bentley manual said under 1L but RL rep says 1L+.

Can anyone chime in. Any suggestion is great suggestion.

PS: I’m changing Tranny Fluid to Redline MTL. That I’m certain of.

Thanks guys/girls

Kyle, Hope some of the "dust" has settled for you and life is returning to a somewhat normal level.

If you have the opportunity, could you provide recommended maintenance schedule for my car:
2013 (7-2012 Build date) F30 335i, last 7 of VIN: F475135

Thanks

My car just came off dealer maintenance program and I'm on my own now. The manual is of no help when it comes to maintenance, except maybe changing a light bulb.

Thanks.

According to site stats, Kyle hasn't posted here since 05-24-2018. Is anyone having their request answered?

Are you familiar with the TIS repair manual?

I have been replying to posts slowly but privately. I do apologize that I have not been able to get to everyone as quick as I would like to.
