Lease add ons (tire/service packages etc)

Morning!

I am FINALLY picking up my 2019 430i xdrive coupe on Saturday after having it built and tracking its production and shipping for what has seemed to be an eternity.

I am good friends with the general manager of the dealership, and he is having one of his sales guys do the actual paperwork and delivery.

He called me today to finalize numbers and set up delivery. I was actually in a meeting when he called and didn’t have much time to talk but he mentioned some “extras” like tire protection and something about breaks.

Question: What should I expect to be offered to me on delivery and what should I expect those “add ons” to cost? Do you recommend any of them? I just want to be prepared. I don’t recall “adding on” anything to my last bmw lease.

If you have 19 inch wheels or bigger, and you drive in areas with lots of potholes, it may be worth to get the "tire and wheel protection". Also, if you worry about dings and scratches (NYC parking), may be worth to get the package that will allow you to return the car "as is", even with dings and scratches. Can't say much about the cost as it may vary between states.
