Whining noise when I left off throttle

So I recently took my aftermarket intake off and put stock back on. Now I have a whining noise coming from the diverted area it sounds and my car is studdering really bad. Who knew this would happen when putting a stock piece on???

Anyone experience anything similar to this?

I was pulling the inlet pipe that the intake goes into because it wasn't high enough is it possible that did something?

You could have created a vacuum leak. Any unmetered air coming in after the MAF is going to throw everything out of whack. The area from intake to turbo is always under vacuum.

I just realized that the piece that connects to the inlet and up top by the oil came off the pipe...

Does it just go back on? I pushed it on and it didn't seem to do anything and I saw there's a screw next to it

You are talking about the PCV hose right? I know on the valve cover side there is a clip with 3-4 prongs that hold it on, but i am not sure about the other side that goes to the inlet... i honestly thought it was not removable from that side but i could be wrong. When i did a boost leak test i disconnected from the valve cover side.

Yeah that's what I'm talking about. Tomorrow I think I will disconnect it from the valve and that should give me a better understanding how it works. If not I'll have to grab a new one. Tried googling and couldn't come up with it

Do you know where I can find that part at or a part number?

This is what i thought in my other post; its permanently attached to the inlet and only the valve cover side can be disconnected. Sorry to hear that. Let us know the part # and cost for the inlet if you can, i'm sure someone else will need it eventually.

Yeah the inlet pretty much broke where the vacuum hose is. My car is getting oil leak fixed under warranty so I just added this. Getting it towed as we speak lol

This is the part on amazon and that part number is accurate. Yeah the whole piece that goes into the vacuum just came off it's all crumbled. My car is at 79k miles and this is the second piece that's broke. Last month was the charge pipe which I did upgrade. This one if under warranty just having them use oem part.
